Lakeshore Getaway

This spacious new build is architect-designed and occupies an enviable lakeside position in the heart of the Lake District. Designing spaces with a predominance of glass is a unique challenge and it shows the diversity of our signature style that we were able to successfully balance the drama of the view beyond the expansive windows with interior softness, subtlety and tactility.

Designing for the space included pulling in the expansive rooms to create flexible family and entertainment spaces, particularly a table to seat fourteen at dinner. Each area took account of acoustics, heat control and materials that would resist bleaching in direct light. These practicality considerations in no way undermine the elegance and luxury of the home.
