Our first meeting – I knew you were the right person to guide this and then when Mike first visited and explained why the cottage was laid out the way it was, I was fully on board.

The whole process from design through renovation and fitting out was fantastic. There weren’t many dark periods (a little grief from the neighbours but not bad). When I visited and there were just 4 walls and beams – nothing else left – I wondered if we were doing the right thing.

The most enjoyable part – getting to know and working with all the team – everyone was so committed and passionate about doing an excellent job – their innovative solutions and creativity in finishing – rounded corners of the plastering, finishing of the skirtings – all as they would have been.
