Lakeshore Perfection

This modern interpretation of a grand lakeshore property was owned by the same couple who had the boathouse, a project we refurbished a few years prior. Delighted with the finish, they asked us to introduce our signature style to their main place of residence.

We aimed to create a sleek and sophisticated look in this large property, a mature adult home perfect for entertaining. We introduced dashes of colour on to a backdrop of predominantly neutral shades. A beautiful, hand-painted wallpaper was used in the hall. As you enter, the stunning design of tree branches and red flowers carry you through to the next room.

We wanted the kitchen, living and dining areas to be very functional and flow into one space. The soft neutral palate linked the three rooms, while accent colours of blue and yellow added depth to the dining area and living room. The oak kitchen units were handmade and fitted with black latches and handles. This, paired with the aga created a warm, welcoming environment.

A bespoke, round room was purpose-built for the office and fitted with a large circular table in the centre. Our brief was to ensure that everything in the office could be hidden. Which is why all the cupboards and table compartments were carefully crafted to store all the office’s contents.
