“Randers” is Sarah’s family home 200 yards from Lake Windermere in the Lake District where they spend most of their spare time on or beside the water, so the site was everything.

The existing 1970’s property was remodelled to suit their needs as well as to satisfy Sarah’s creative passions. As a designer environment and the feel of their surroundings is everything

“Randers” was never intended to be a show house. It naturally evolved as a comfortable resting place for their joint collection of life to date, and to raise their two children.

Originating from Scotland and the influence of Sarah’s Father’s home country of Denmark ( Hence why the home was named “Randers” as her Father’s birthplace was in the centre of Jutland), Sarah studied for a BA hons in Fine Art and Design and developed her creative passion into an interpretation of nature and the exploration of the perfection of design, colour and texture in our surroundings. For Sarah, her environment makes the difference between pleasure and discomfort.
