Luxury Interior Design in The Lake District

In September 2020, Gilpin launched the Spa Suites 100’s 25% more intrigue, luxury, indulgence and comfort. The ultimate retreat for two. Each lodge has its own, Kitchen, Lounge, Bedroom plus so much more, there is a circular internal bath with double vanity area, WC, Double shower, steam room, sauna and treatment room internally just for two.

Outside, the lodges nestled in true Lakeland surroundings, have their own large private sundeck, with hot tub and relaxing water feature with growing natural wall…. Serenity at its ultimate

Beautiful Scandinavian-style interior design

The interior concept of the lodges was to extend the beauty and serenity of the lakes to all who visit. The experience had to be completely Gilpin, completely Lakeland, but with the Nielsen House USP of Scandinavian style.

In 2020 we finished the design of the Gilpin Hotel’s newest Spa Suites. The brief was to create a biophilic space using the Lakeland surroundings to inspire the design. The hotel who are known for their distinct rooms would like there to be an underlying consistency across the suites but for the soft furnishings to tell a different story across each suite.

This design won us the Design Et Al Awards for the best Hotel Suite in Europe.

Gilpin Spa Lodges

Following our successful work on the Gilpin Hotel, we were asked to design the interiors of the Gilpin Spa Lodges, the latest addition to Gilpin as of 2015. These lodges were labelled as ‘the ultimate indulgence’.
